Payments, Cancellation & Refunds

Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how cancellations, refunds and payment-related matters are generally handled for Growth Tech's digital marketing, website development and related professional services.

Last Updated: 15 August 2026

Growth Tech provides professional digital services that may involve advance planning, staff allocation, design, development, campaign preparation, third-party purchases and other work performed specifically for a client. Accordingly, cancellation and refund eligibility depends on the nature and stage of the service, the agreed commercial terms, work already performed, third-party commitments and applicable law.

1. Scope of This Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies generally to services provided by Growth Tech, including website design and development, SEO, digital marketing, Google Ads management, social media marketing, Google Business Profile-related services, graphic design and other professional digital services.

A specific quotation, proposal, invoice, service agreement or written commercial arrangement may contain additional payment and cancellation terms applicable to that project.

2. Service Categories

Refund and cancellation treatment may differ depending on the nature of the service.

Website Development

Project-based services involving planning, design, development, revisions, testing and implementation.

SEO & Digital Marketing

Ongoing services involving professional time, planning, optimization, reporting and campaign activities.

Advertising Management

Campaign setup and management services that may involve separate advertising or media budgets.

Creative & Design Services

Custom graphics, creatives, website assets and other work prepared specifically for a client.

3. Advance Payments

Some projects may require an advance payment before work begins. The amount and payment schedule will normally be communicated in the applicable quotation, proposal or invoice.

An advance payment may be used to allocate resources, begin project work, reserve production capacity or purchase project-related third-party services.

The treatment of an advance payment following cancellation depends on the stage of work, services already performed, committed third-party costs and the applicable commercial terms.

4. Website Development Cancellation

If a website development project is cancelled after work has started, Growth Tech may assess the amount of work already completed and the costs already incurred.

Where appropriate, the amount payable may include work already performed, approved deliverables, design or development time, third-party purchases and other non-recoverable project costs.

Any refundable balance, where applicable, will be determined after considering the actual project status and applicable contractual terms.

5. Digital Marketing & SEO Cancellation

Digital marketing and SEO services may involve planning, research, optimization, content work, campaign management, reporting and other ongoing activities performed during a service period.

If an ongoing service is cancelled, cancellation will normally apply from the applicable cancellation date or next billing period according to the agreed service terms.

Services already performed during a paid service period are generally not treated as unused services merely because the client later decides not to continue.

6. Monthly or Recurring Services

For monthly or recurring services, the applicable quotation, invoice or service agreement may specify the billing date, service period and cancellation requirements.

A cancellation request should be submitted before the next billing cycle wherever possible.

Important: Cancelling a recurring service does not automatically reverse charges for services that have already been delivered, performed or committed during the relevant billing period.

7. Advertising Spend Is Separate

Where Growth Tech manages paid advertising campaigns, the professional management fee and the advertising/media budget may be separate amounts.

Money paid to or spent through an advertising platform, publisher or other third-party service may be subject to that provider's own refund, credit and billing policies.

Growth Tech cannot promise a refund of third-party advertising expenditure where the relevant third party has already charged, spent or otherwise committed the amount.

8. Third-Party Costs

Project-related expenses may include domain registration, hosting, premium themes, plugins, software licences, APIs, email services, stock assets, advertising platforms, payment services or other third-party products.

Where such costs have already been purchased, activated, consumed or committed for a client project, their refund may be subject to the relevant third-party provider's terms.

9. Cancellation Before Work Begins

If a client requests cancellation before substantive work begins, Growth Tech may review the request based on the applicable quotation and the status of any resources or third-party commitments already made for the project.

Where a refund is appropriate, the refundable amount may be processed after deducting applicable amounts for completed preparatory work or non-recoverable third-party costs, subject to applicable law and the agreed terms.

10. Cancellation After Work Has Started

Once project work has commenced, Growth Tech may have already invested professional time and resources into the project.

In such circumstances, any refund assessment may consider:

  • Work already completed
  • Design and development time
  • Approved or delivered materials
  • Project planning and research
  • Third-party costs
  • Advertising expenditure
  • Resources already committed
  • Applicable taxes or transaction costs
  • Specific terms agreed for the project

11. Completed or Delivered Work

Amounts relating to work that has been completed, delivered, approved or made available to the client are generally treated according to the applicable project agreement and payment terms.

A client decision not to use a completed deliverable does not by itself establish that the service was not performed.

12. Client Delay or Non-Cooperation

Project delays caused by missing content, delayed approvals, unavailable access, incomplete information, delayed payments or other client-side issues do not automatically create a right to a refund.

Where reasonable, Growth Tech may provide the client an opportunity to provide the required information or instructions so that the project can continue.

13. Client Change of Mind

A change of mind, change in business strategy, change of internal priorities or decision not to use a completed service does not automatically create a right to a full refund.

Any refund request will be evaluated according to the applicable project stage, service performed, commercial terms and applicable law.

14. Service Results & Refunds

Digital marketing, SEO, advertising and online promotion involve external factors and do not guarantee a specific number of leads, sales, rankings, traffic or revenue.

A campaign or marketing service not achieving a client's desired commercial result does not automatically mean that the agreed professional service was not performed.

Performance is not the same as service delivery. Refund eligibility is determined according to the agreed scope and applicable terms, not solely by whether a particular business outcome was achieved.

15. Google Ads, SEO & Platform Decisions

Advertising platforms and search engines independently control approvals, account status, rankings, algorithms, auctions, targeting and other platform decisions.

A rejection, suspension, ranking change, algorithm update or other third-party decision does not automatically constitute a failure to provide the agreed professional service.

Where a specific platform-related issue is caused by Growth Tech's failure to perform an expressly agreed task, the matter may be reviewed according to the applicable service agreement.

16. Duplicate or Incorrect Payments

If a client accidentally makes a duplicate payment or transfers an amount materially higher than the amount due, the client should contact Growth Tech as soon as possible.

After verification, an eligible excess payment may be returned or adjusted against an outstanding or upcoming amount, subject to applicable payment-processing requirements.

17. Refunds Due to Service Issues

If a client believes that an agreed service has materially failed to match the applicable written scope, the client should first contact Growth Tech and provide sufficient details about the concern.

Growth Tech may review the matter and, where appropriate, attempt a reasonable correction, completion or other resolution before determining whether a refund or adjustment is appropriate.

18. Refund Request Process

Refund or cancellation requests should be submitted in writing using the official Growth Tech contact details.

A request should include:

  • Client name
  • Business name, where applicable
  • Relevant invoice or project reference
  • Date of payment
  • Amount paid
  • Reason for the request
  • Relevant supporting information

19. Refund Review

After receiving a refund request, Growth Tech may review the relevant project records, payment history, scope, completed work, communications, third-party expenses and applicable terms.

Where additional information is reasonably required, Growth Tech may request it before completing the review.

20. Approved Refunds

If a refund is approved, Growth Tech will communicate the applicable amount and processing method to the client.

The actual time for funds to appear may depend on the payment method, bank, payment gateway or other financial institution involved.

Refunds may normally be processed through the original payment method where technically and operationally appropriate.

21. Non-Refundable Third-Party Commitments

Where Growth Tech has purchased, activated or committed third-party products or services specifically for a client and the relevant provider does not offer a refund, that third-party amount may not be recoverable.

Examples may include certain domains, hosting plans, premium software, licences, advertising expenditure, third-party subscriptions, paid assets and other external services.

22. Taxes & Payment Processing

Where applicable, taxes, payment-processing charges or other legally applicable amounts may be considered when processing a refund or adjustment, subject to applicable law and the relevant transaction.

Any applicable tax adjustment or documentation will be handled according to the relevant accounting and legal requirements.

23. Cancellation by Growth Tech

Growth Tech may suspend or terminate a service in appropriate circumstances, including serious non-payment, unlawful requests, abusive conduct, security concerns, repeated failure to provide required information or other material breach of applicable terms.

Where cancellation by Growth Tech occurs for reasons attributable to Growth Tech and a refund or adjustment is legally or contractually appropriate, the matter will be handled according to the applicable agreement and law.

24. No Waiver of Legal Rights

Nothing in this policy is intended to remove, restrict or waive any right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

Where mandatory consumer or other legal protections apply to a particular transaction, those rights will continue to apply.

25. Relationship With Other Documents

This Refund & Cancellation Policy should be read together with the applicable quotation, invoice, proposal, Terms & Conditions and service agreement.

A specific written commercial agreement may contain additional cancellation, payment or refund provisions for a particular project.

26. Changes to This Policy

Growth Tech may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy when our services, payment practices, business processes or applicable legal requirements change.

The latest version will be published on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
